Overall this is a very nice park with friendly helpful staff. The sites are lever and grassy. The rating is a result of the very poor interior rocky potholed roads. You cannot get the Wi-Fi in your unit unless you get a site within 150 feet of the office. I asked and was given a supposedly shady site, but one tree doesn't cut it. The town road into the park is blacktop with large deep potholes. Drive slowly and carefully.

This rate was a pull thru with a 5% discount for reserving on line. All in all not worth the cost. Site was very, very uneven. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Fire ring was so close to neighbor didn't dare even think of a fire. Reaffirmed why we avoid KOA's.

This is the first campground I have given a 10. WI-FI worked great in the camper while the staff and owners are some of the friendliest we have met. There is a Good Sam 10% discount and a weekly discount of 15%. They give you a brochure that gives directions to all the area attractions. Interior roads are good, but narrow though that didn't present a problem if you take your time in maneuvering. If you plan to visit and see the sights plan on at least a week.

Stayed here with 14 year twin grandsons to see the Nashville sites. Wi-Fi was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful with information and directions to area sites. Several nights free singer next to pool which grand kids loved both singer and pool. Only negative was the Grey Lines Bus Depot next door. Diesel noise no problem as have one, but the beepers when backing up were annoying, but got used to them. According to staff the depot is going to be moved shortly. Sites 98 thru 115 are back in next to depot and are nice size with adequate space between units although with no shrubby to provide any privacy. We were in 109 and would recommend any of the sites along the depot side. Rest of back in are back to back. Pull thrus nice size. Definitely would go back and probably will without grand kids. Definitely take Tommie City and Home tour. Tommie is a hoot.

This is our type of campground. Lots of trees & friendly staff. WI-FI is free and signal was excellent. We stayed in site F-2. Temp in pool was listed at 82, but that was false advertising. Grandkids had no problem with it, but took this ol'granddad some getting used to cold water, but was nice once you got in. Definitely would stay again. Nice playground with good equipment. We were right across road from it so convenient to keep eye on grandkids.

Definitely would stay here again. Problem: only 2 washers and dryers, so we had to go to town to do wash. We would definitely stay here again. We used this as our base camp to explore Arches and Canyonlands NPs. The best sites are 40 thru 45 as they are wide and you have have a view of Moab Fault.

Great park for base camp as we did to visit Arches and Canyonlands NP. Golf course is only a short drive away. Only draw back was only 2 washers and dryers so had to o to town to do wash. Dusty, but so is the rest of Moab.

Rate is a PA rate which requires advance reservation if only 2 hrs. This is our second yr here and despite the lack of cable TV which is not important it definitely rates a 10. If you are in the area definitely put this CG on you must do list particularly if you are a golfer.

Charlie the owner is great. We stayed here a month and would stay again. Sites are gravel and level. We stayed in site 64 and had no problem with neighbor that previous poster had. My only complaint is the cable is very limited while a full lineup is available in the office. This the simplest registration I have ever done. Simply put name and address in a notebook and that is it. WI-FI is somewhat hit and miss, but overall is reliable.

Nice park to stay in for access to tourist sites in the Houston area. Owner doesn't have lot of knowledge of the area sites so plan on doing your own research. Wi-Fi has good reception to your site. Price was right to see Houston Space Center and other sites. Highly recommend golfers take in Golf Tour 18. Reasonable price includes breakfast and lunch buffet. Will stay here again.

Very friendly park with lots of activities. WI-Fi is very hit and miss, but generally worked well. We have already placed our deposit for next year after our first visit to the valley. Best sites are along Onion Row and a back in. Sites 31-50 are converted back to back to pull thrus that need work and when wet are very muddy.

We used this as a jumping off point to the sites around Niagara Falls. The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering questions about the area. Contrary to other posts, I found the WI-FI was free. The sites are narrower than we like, but they were adequate and allowed full extension of slides and the awning. My only problem was the size of the fire rings as they were only small tire rims which really didn't allow a descent fire. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice campground with friendly owners and staff. Very helpful in directing one to area interests. Unique to see desert in Maine. This is off season, but I would imagine in peak season sites are pretty crowded. While we are in a pull through it is designated as two sites. If you are into chocolate you definitely go to Scarbough and see the 1700 lb moose made of chocolate, but be forewarned you will part with a few bucks if you purchase any of the chocolate.

The price is right, the sites are large, level, and shaded. This is an older park that could use some updating. The bathrooms are out houses that have running water, but are not protected from the elements so were rather dirty. I wouldn't use them and I'm not real fussy. Good WiFi signal. There is a fishing pond for campers use that apparently is stocked. We would stay here again due to price and the Hawk's Nest Golf Course only 2 miles away is one of the best we have golfed. We stayed here to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame, McKinley Library, and Museum.

Fifth year in row that we have been here. The fireworks display was moved so we could not see them. We still could see many set off by area resorts and businesses. Already plan to come back next year. The campground is just as good as past years and Phil and Pat are still great hosts.

This is a great park and we would certainly stop here again. From what we saw of other CG's, this is the best. My only complaint was the $3 per person extra charge for over two on a campsite. I don't believe our 12 year old grandsons consumed another $6 worth of services per day. A nice feature is the all you can eat $2 pancake breakfast.

Nice campground with plenty of trees. Has everything we want with none of the unnecessary amenities. Fire rings, nice wide sites, friendly host, entertainment on weekend, and quiet hrs that are quiet hrs. WI-FI reception in your RV. Didn't notice train or traffic noise at night. Interior roads are rather narrow but doable. We would stay here again.

This is an excellent campground. Friendly host and everything we look for in a campground. The only reason I gave it a 9 is you had to go to the gameroom or sit outside the office before 9 AM to use the WI-FI. Would definitely be a 10 if you could access the WI-FI from your site. Be sure to visit the Maritime Museum and the County Historical Museum in Sturgeon Bay. If you golf be sure to do Peninsula State Park GC, but unless you are in excellent shape take a cart.

This is a campground that is going down hill and is worth more to a developer than a campground. The owner is in his 80's and doesn't seem to want to come into the 21st century. There are only 8 full hookup sites and there are 7 taken by full timers including the work-camper who is a nice guy. The wwork-camper, Richard, works hard at getting things in shape, but Mr Holtz doesn't seem to want to put much into the campground. There are no real amenities but it is a good stay for the Bardstown area. If you are into campgrounds without all the glitz this a nice stay. We would stay here again.

Seems we are the only transients in CG at this time with several seasonals also. Friendly owners that were helpful as to what to do in the area. Being longtime locals they knew a lot about the history of the area. While rules sounded a little onerous they are what you find in most parks. We would stay again as we didn't get to see all we wanted to in the area. WI-FI free with good signal.

This is a Passport America CG so the rate is 12.50, but you must make a reservation to get the discount. Everyone here is very friendly and it appears that about 80% of campers are here during winter and are here every year, as there is a waiting list to get in. Only negative is no WI-FI. If you camp here you get to golf the 27 hole golf course for $5 for unlimited walking per day. It is an easy walking course, but not an easy course. On Tuesday and Friday there is a community happy hour at 5, BYOB and on Friday everyone brings a hors d'oeuvres. We hopefully will get to stay here next year for a few weeks. There are two ponds with catch and release and some water fowl.

Only stopped for an overnight stay, but would definitely consider CG for longer stay. Owners ere attentive, but based on other reviews definitely concerned about the safety of the people in the campground. It is clear to stop at the office before entering and based on conversation with owner they will jump all over you for not doing so. We will definitely stop here again.

Stayed one night on our way to FL. Nice CG with excellent paved roads and nice wide sites. Unfortunately no trees and unless you were in a back-in, no fire rings. Friendly owners and we were escorted to our site. Would definitely stay again and for longer period.

I find it interesting that a previous reviewer slammed this park and said at first they didn't stay here, but at the end said they stayed here in a motorhome. At that this is not a park you stay at if you want amenities. We look for a park with WI-FI Cable TV(not important) and a friendly park. It is dusty here and the sites are dirt not gravel, but the management is friendly and helpful. At 105 a week a bargain as we spend most of our time doing the tourist stuff. A quiet park with a lot of seasonals I believe probably work in the oil fields. Would certainly stay again and are considering leaving our Monty here while we head back North to snow for Granddaughters B-Day Party. Sites are large enough to park you TV next to your RV. If you have kids this is not a place for you. They are adding about 40 sites that will have no trees which we have, but because it is March there are no leaves. I do admit that the stalls were not the most convenient as the shower curtain rather than a door was too close to the bif so that when you sat your knees protruded from the stall.

We left the Monty here as we drove North to WI for granddaughter's B-Day. The rest rooms left a lot to be desired. The price was right($12 per night as we were staying more than 5 days) and was cheaper than pulling the Monty north and paying for the diesel. The best rest room is right to the left of the office in the cattle barn. We would stay here again to travel north for party. Otherwise no.

We stayed here 3/24 to 4/7/07. We found the sites to be very large and spacious. Most of those here are seasonals and stay here for the golf. We found the staff and the other RVers to be especially friendly. The golf course is being improved and while it is not the best course we have played it is far from the worse. At $22 including the cart for 18 holes it is a good deal. We will definitely be coming back. The 8 rating is due to no WI-FI nor fire rings.

This is the friendliest park we have stayed at, including staff and other campers. Overall sites are rather tight, but doable. Nice walking trails in the desert. Far from traffic and very quiet. One could hear the coyotes at night. Easy access to major attractions in the area.

Disappointing that the WI-FI was not working. Owner is not on site so he or she may not place a priority on it. On site managers are helpful and friendly. Has a new Rec center that has lots of activities ongoing. Sites are gravel with no trees. We will stay here again when in the area.

This was our second stay here and will be our last. Under a new manager as previous one got busted for making meth and selling drugs. New manager is friendly and helpful. In the month we were here the bathrooms were never cleaned. Friendly campground, but general deterioration of campground doesn't warrant another visit.

Convenient for a couple nights. A short walk to Graceland which brought us here. WI-FI excellent and friendly staff. No CATV, but who cares. Entrance isn't well marked so be careful or you will miss it.

Nice place to camp, but we are not into all the amenities. Father lives close by. Only real draw back is you must walk to library to get WI-FI reception which is about 6 blocks.

Hosts Phil and Pat are very friendly with Phil leading you to your site. Sites are large with lots of shade trees. Quiet campground with great view of fireworks on the 4th of July. This is our fourth year camping here.

This a great park. With the bus departing directly from the park to the Metro you can't beat it getting into DC. With I-95 and the Beltway so close as a country boy I was concerned about road noise, but it was hardly noticeable. After reading one bad review I wonder if they were in the same park. We will definately come here on our next trip to DC. We spent 28 days here and didn't get to see everything.

The only negative about this park is that you have to be in the office area to get a good WI-FI signal and the hours are limited.

Nice park with friendly helpful manager. We stayed during my fathers health problems. One big draw back is the RR tracks just across the road. Train blew it whistle for crossing there and it was in an area where switching occurred between 1 and 3 AM.
